Please note the following before you download or try to use this upgrade.

1. This upgrade is for MAX-PLEX model security DVRs only.

2. This upgrade allows streaming video to be viewed on MAC platforms using SAFARI browsers only. NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ANY OTHER BROWSERS. Safari ONLY.

DESIGNER NOTES FOR SAFARI DVR VIEWER UPGRADE

YOU MUST USE PORT 80 AS THE WEBPORT IN ORDER FOR THIS TO WORK. OTHERWISE THE PLUGIN WILL NOT INSTALL AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEE THE CAMERAS. WE ARE WORKING TO ALLOW YOU TO CHANGE THE WEB PORT IN THE NEAR FUTURE. THIS PLUGIN ONLY WORKS FOR SAFARI AND NOT CHROME, FIREFOX OR OPERA. ONLY FOR SAFARI!

INSTRUCTIONS: UNZIP THE FILE AND AND MOVE THE TAR FILE TO A USB. CONNECT THE USB TO THE BACK OF THE MAX PLEX AND GO INTO THE MAIN MENU AND CHOOSE UPDATE. DO NOT USE THE ZIP FILE, YOU MUST UNZIP THE FILE AND USE THE TAR FILE.
