For many years the annual American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) convention has been a gathering place for thousands of security and surveillance industry specialists. This year, even with the economic downturn the country - and much of the world - has been experiencing, was no different.

Attendance was high. CCTV Outlet and Eclipse products made a great showing. Our company booth was located at an entrance to a large hallway which gave us perfect exposure to everyone coming and going. All six of us (Moises, Tony Rodriguez, Matthew Terry, Frankie Cordova, Ernesto Vazquez, and Jessica Rodriquez) stayed busy greeting customers, taking contact information, and handing out product literature. The booth looked great, with the Eclipse logo in a prominent position. Coming or going into the convention hall, you couldn't help but notice our booth and the Eclipse product logo.

Eclipse products combined with our booth's professional graphics and equipment demonstrations got a lot of interest from attendees. Our new hybrid Nubix DVRs and new access control equipment and video door phones drew lots of questions. Loss prevention specialists and security engineers expressed more than passing interest in our strobe-LED equipped cameras, proving that  crime deterrence is just as desirable as after-the-fact incarceration. In a short while it was clear that out innovative technology and designs were competing well with major brands and we hope that interest will turn into sales opportunities in the coming months.

This is great news for CCTV Outlet and our dealers! Technology doesn’t sell itself, so thanks to our expert sales and technical staff at the convention, we had an extremely positive experience with leading officials in the security industry. That's likely to translate into an increase in requests for Eclipse brand equipment since the savings are obvious - these clients are expecting to pay a major brand name price, which is great for our dealers. This gives everyone who deals with CCTV Outlet an immediate competitive advantage.

We all worked hard at this show to create an interest in the Eclipse brand. It was great to see our current customers from Arizona and Florida show up to support us. Thank you!
